All administrative preparations for the 27th National Youth Festival have been almost completed.

The local administration’s preparation are nearing the completion for the 27th National Youth Festival 2024 to be organized in Nashik city, Maharashtra, commemorating the 161st Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. Administrative officers have almost completed all the preparations related to their respective departments. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is coming to Nashik for the inauguration of the National Youth Festival, for which the local administration is fully prepared.

Divisional Commissioner Mr. Radhakrishna Game, Police Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Karnik, Sports Commissioner Dr. Suhas Diwase, District Collector Mr. Jalaj Sharma, Nashik Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Ashok Karanjkar, and other administrative officers participated in the press conference held on Tuesday.

The Divisional Commissioner, Shri Radhakrishna Game, mentioned that more than 2200 rooms have been arranged in different parts of the city for the participants attending the Youth Festival, and transport service has also been arranged from the place of residence to the venue of the event.

Sports Commissioner Dr. Suhas Diwase said, “More than 7500 youth participants from different corners of the country are coming to participate in the festival, including 3600 youth from the State, 2500 volunteers, 400 invited volunteers from the State, and 1000 youth who will participate in the Festival. Additionally, 500 youth, including officers from various departments and winners of various awards, will participate. During the Festival, folk dance, folk singing, speech, photography competition, poster making, story writing, Suvichar, Yuva Kriti, Indigenous Games, and these programs will take place. Additionally, through the Maharashtra Youth Expo, a special platform will be provided for emerging artists, entrepreneurs, and researchers of Maharashtra State.”

Considering the security arrangements in the city, police forces will be deployed. The Prime Minister’s convoy will travel from Nilgiri Bagh helipad through a roadshow to Tapovan Ground, where he will inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival and address the youth across the country.

Police Commissioner Shri Sandip Karnik stated that traffic changes will be made on the roads leading from Nilgiri Bagh to Tapovan Maidan for the convenience of the general public.

Nashik Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Ashok Karanjkar said that the Municipal Corporation is prepared for the Youth Festival and is committed to providing all the basic arrangements for guests coming from all over the country to the city.

About 1 lakh youths are expected to attend the inaugural ceremony of the 27th National Youth Festival for which administrative preparations have been almost completed.
